![]() I put pieces of tape over my physical light switches and have only been using my Zigbee buttons to toggle and change my lights, and the issue has gone away entirely. And i guess it would just get into a confused loop because it wasn't sure if the light was supposed to be on OR off. In most cases, you can fix a light that keeps going on and off by replacing the lamp. So it would force the light to turn on, but Home Assistant would still think the light was off because that was the last state it was set to programatically. A dusk to dawn light that keeps flickering can be caused by a bad sensor, fluctuating voltage, as well as a faulty insulation detector. Would really appreciate any input that you guys might have.ĮDIT: To those who run into this future in the future: The issue was happening because I was flicking the switch off/on to turn my lights on when they were off. I have tried deleting all my automations and scenes, both from Home Assistant and Deconz without any luck. (Chain goes on until i get to my last bulb) And If i unscrew that one, then YET another one will do this. I have tried unscrewing the blinking light, and leaving it unscrewed, but a day or a a couple hours later ANOTHER light in my house will start doing the same thing. ![]() I know it is being caused by HomeAssistant/Deconz in some way because if i unplug my RaspberryPi from power, the light-bulb flashing will instantly stop. Just add it to any outdoor fixture and enjoy a more-peace-of-mind night’s sleep. It has been driving me completely crazy because I can't figure out what is causing it. With its built-in sensor, LED+ Dusk to Dawn light bulb is literally up all nightautomatically turning on after dark and off when the sun rises. One thing to note: It’s not designed for use in a dimmer. With a three-year warranty, it’s still returnable when most incandescent bulbs are headed for the landfill. The GE Dusk to Dawn bulb is available in an A19 form factor with an E26 socket, meaning it’s similar to a traditional incandescent light bulb in size and socket dimensions. I have been having this issue with the 1 or 2 lights randomly flashing endlessly for no reason whenever I turn them on through the light switch. Some dusk to Dawn lights has a timer or control panel that allows you to set when the light should turn on and off. About a month or two ago i purchased a bunch of HomeDepot EcoSmart lightbulbs while they were on sale for my entire apartment. In conjunction with leaving your light switch on the ON position, dusk to dawn LED light bulbs will turn ON and OFF when the sun comes up and goes down.
